INGROWN TOENAILS

Ingrown toenails are one of the most common problems treated by The Foot Clinic's chiropodist/podiatrist. An ingrown toenail may start out as swollen and tender but quickly becomes sore, red and infected. There may be some drainage of pus, the skin may grow over the nail plate and is extremely vascular at this point causing it to bleed easily when bumped.
