We have a great team at the Orangeville Foot Clinic, ready to provide you with all of your foot care needs. Meet our staff:
Ali Nasr-Esfahani - Chiropodist
Ali graduated from medical school at Azad University in Iran. After 3 years of practicing as a GP, he did a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics in Sweden then began work as a research assistant t McGill University for 2 years.
Soon after, he realized that he missed patient interaction and the clinical aspect of his job! So, he decided to go back to school! He finished the 3-year chiropody program at Michener Institute in Toronto.
Since then, he used to work as a chiropodist in Regent Park CHC, Dufferin Area Family Health Team, and Bolton Family Foot Care clinic before he took over Orangeville Foot Clinic.
He also has the Soft Tissue Surgery and Injection certification from Guelph University.
Rebecca Suen - Chiropodist
Rebecca graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology. It was at York University where she discovered her interest in the biomechanics of the foot and pathologies that can arise from comorbidities.
Rebecca graduated from the Chiropody program at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN and is currently teaching as clinical faculty in the Chiropody department. She also has had experience in public community health care and private clinical settings.
She is a registered member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, a member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine (CFPM) and a member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists (OSC).
Aissa Thomas - Administrator
Aissa was a product developer in the food industry before she started her career in the Health Services industry and has over 10 years of experience in customer service.
She recently decided that she wanted to work closely with people and be apart of something that makes a positive impact on people's lives. Therefore, she attended Seneca College, where she obtained a diploma in Office Administration - Health Services with high honors, and started working at Orangeville Foot Clinic after graduation.
Aissa is excited to have found her true passion and to be able to provide a positive experience at the clinic for all patients.
