Ali is a registered Chiropodist and the CEO of Orangeville Foot Clinic. His academic and professional journey spans multiple countries and disciplines, providing him with a diverse background in healthcare and research.
Ali first earned his medical degree in Iran, where he practiced as a general physician (GP) for three years. He then pursued a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics in Sweden before working as a research assistant at McGill University in Canada.
Recognizing his passion for direct patient care, Ali transitioned back into clinical practice, completing the three-year Chiropody program at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN. Additionally, he holds a Soft Tissue Surgery and Injection certification from the University of Guelph. Before taking ownership of Orangeville Foot Clinic, Ali gained extensive experience working in various chiropody clinics, providing comprehensive foot and lower limb care. He is a former board member and current member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists (OSC) and a registered member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO).
His clinical practice includes but is not limited to: - Management of ingrown toenails, bunion-related foot pain, and wound care - Custom orthotics for individuals of all ages - Diabetic foot care and prevention strategies - Wart and fungal nail treatments - Corn and callus care
Ali enjoys traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and learning about AI outside clinical practice. He is also a devoted animal lover and often shares stories about his dogs!
